Primetime Shootout

The Prime Time Shootout is the nation’s top invitational tournament showcasing the finest high school basketball teams and players. In 2008, the event featured 16 of the top 25 teams in the country, including Oak Hill Academy, St. Anthony’s, St. Patrick’s and St. Benedict’s.

For four days, the Prime Time Shootout annually draws over 30,000 spectators to the Pavilion on the campus of Villanova, to the RAC on the campus of Rutgers and to the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, N.J. The annual event attracts top print, broadcast, and web-based media. In 2008, the Prime Time Shootout will again be benefiting Children’s Specialized Hospital. Children’s Specialized Hospital, the largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the country, provides expert, loving care to children and adolescents with special needs, from birth through 21 years of age.
